Profile Audio
Add background music to your extort.bio profile with an uploaded audio file.
File Audio
Go to Dashboard → Customize.
Click the Audio tile in the Assets section.
Select an MP3, WAV, OGG, or M4A file (max 15 MB).
The file uploads and the audio source is saved to your profile.
To remove file audio, click Remove uploaded / file audio below the asset tiles.
Profile music is file-based only (e.g. MP3). Use a direct HTTPS link to your file if you host it elsewhere, or upload through the Audio tile.
Volume Control
Enable Volume control in Other Customization to show a volume slider on your live profile. In Showcase mode, the slider appears as a floating dock. In standard mode, it appears below the profile card.
Autoplay Behaviour
Browsers block audio autoplay until the user interacts with the page. extort.bio handles this gracefully:
- On page load, audio starts muted and immediately unmutes — this bypasses most autoplay blocks.
- If that fails, playback resumes on the first click, keypress, or touch anywhere on the page.
- If you have an entrance gate enabled, file audio waits until the visitor clicks "click to enter" — then playback starts (including with volume control / showcase dock).
